Good grief! This is the second appearance in a CustomCon by Mr. Frakes. The first time was in CustomCon7, when he appeared as the Executive Producer of the television show “Roswell” in a virtual custom by Mark Harvey. Check him out at:

I pretty much blatantly “borrowed” Mark’s excellent recipe. The head is from a Playmates Riker figure, and the body is from a McFarlane’s X-Files Mulder figure. When I got the parts together, they didn’t go together perfectly, due to the odd scale that Playmates used for the heads and hands of most of their figures (way too large for the bodies). I looked all over for another suited body that would be more in scale with the Riker head, but it ended up that the Mulder figure was the best fit. I sculpted on a neck, which made the scale differences a little less noticeable. The alien body and the gurney are also from the Mulder figure set, with the body being a slightly repainted version of the corpse wrapped in the white sheet from the Mulder set.

Why I made this figure I have no idea. Other than it’s one of Frakes’ finest acting performances ever. And who doesn’t love mailaway figures? Thanks Mark, for the recipe!
