ELECTRON
*Recipe : The base figure was an "Another Universe
Wonderman" or something. I sanded down the hair and
then added Das Pronto to cover the mess I did :P, and with
Das Pronto I made the shoulder pads, too. The belt is a
rubber band, and the hair is made with a toothpaste tube,
BTW, that was the most difficult part of the process. You
can see his baldy head from behind. I painted the figure
with acrilycs.
TEMPEST
*Recipe : The Base figure I used was an Alpha Flight Northstar
from head to toe. I dremeled down the hair he had and sculpted
a new one with Das Pronto. Then painted accordingly with
the reference pics I have. One thing difficult was painting
his chest symbol and BTW I painted the same symbol in his
back. I love how I painted this little fella.
NIGHTSIDE
*Recipe : Nightside is made using the body of an Alpha Flight
Vindicator with a Street Fighter Chun Li head and Spiderwomans
arms. I sculpted her hair with Das Pronto, then added the
"tiara" with some wires and Das Pronto. The cape
is from a Batman cut down to size. Finally, painted the
whole figure with acrilyc paints. Cool huh?
MAGIC
*Recipe : This is one of my favorites, she's made with the
body of an Alpha Flight Snowbird from head to toe. The cape
is from a Martian Manhunter, gotta love that cape, it fits
in everything you need , don't you think ?. The "hair"
is made out of PVC and it was very difficult to work with.
This is the most stunning paint job I ever did.
SQUORM
*Recipe : I was looking for a long time ago, some egg-shaped
toy, but I had no luck back then. This guy is made using
an egg-shaped plastic, it came from some kind of vending
machine with little gifts in 'em, by the way it was very
cheap. The legs and arms are from an Alpha Flight Puck,
with lots of Das Pronto to cover details. The black cable
in his right (our left) is from other figures left-overs,
the same with the cables on his shoulders. I have 3 pictures
of this guy, and in every picture he has different colors,
so this Squorm is a combination of the 3 pics and a little
freestyle.
ORACLE
*Recipe : The base body for this beauty was an Alpha Flight
Aurora, with an unknown hair, maybe it is from Storm.
The hand cuffs are made using Das Pronto and the Boot
"cuffs" are made with toothpaste tube and the
belt is a painted ribbon. I really like this one too,
but I don't like the picture.
COMMANDO II
*Recipe : The body used for this guy was perfect for what
I needed, I don't know the Toy line the base figure came
from, but Prof. Charles Xavier was in it. The legs was from
an Executioner, same with the head. I used two pieces of
toothpaste tube for the elbow pad. The helmet is made using
the Moagneto helmet, the googles are from Vindicator and
the "mohawk" thing is an unknown material. I first
spray painted the figure with dark green, then painted accordingly.
I did a little bit of dry-brush with black on the figure.
