About CustomCon

CustomCon is a fictional toy show showcasing the work of several customizers. You will not find these toys in your local toy store.

With the smash hit return of the He-Man toy empire we at Plastic Culture in a partnership with Mattel are creating a line of figures for adult collector’s. This line will continue to flourish and grow as it’s counterpart children’s toy line. This line will feature super articulation, detailed sculpting and high grade painting.

The line is based on the legend of the original He-Man series. 200 years after He-Man and Skeletor had gone the way of all living things their legend still lives on through stories told about their amazing battles of good vs. evil.

This line gives us some flexibility to create outside of what we know and have seen in the MOTU world. Truly something that hasn’t been done since the movie.

This series features bases, which will not be done for any other series in the foreseeable furture. The bases depict different parts of Eternia. He-Man has a Greyskull base, Teela a desert, Man-At-Arms a battle field, Sorceress has a base of the inside of Castle Greyskull, Skeletor has the Snake Mountain base, Evil-Lyn has a base of her hangout in the voodoo grounds, Trap Jaw has a wicked junkyard base.

MOTU is an amazing series and we plan on making plenty of characters in the future for the more adult fan who wants more than the already awesome toys Mattel and the Four Horsemen are making. Series 2 will have some very interesting version of Beast Man, Zodac, Stratos and Merman.

If fans grab these up we will make even more figures per wave and add some interesting playsets, I for one would like to do an Eternia Towers playset in scale with these bad boys.
