Batgirl
(Cassandra Cain): After taking over the mantle of Batgirl from
the Huntress, Cassandra has become one of the more interesting
Bat characters. I've seen several customs, but most don't fit
in scale wise. Cassandra is roughtly 16-17 and isn't as tall
as Batman, she is more Robin's size, so I needed a figure that
would keep her height in scale and still have the lean and muscular
body. I finally chose the X-Men movie Rogue in movie costume.
After sanding off the ribbing and "armor", I filled
in the areas with super glue and sanded them smooth. The glove
spikes, belt, and cowl are all Sculpey. I scaulpted the head
to show the skin tight mask she wears, with stitching around
the mout area and the detail of her nose and mouth. The eye
area was filled in slightly with super glue. The cape is a modified
animated series Bruce Wayne cape, cut to fit her and glued into
place.
