About CustomCon

CustomCon is a fictional toy show showcasing the work of several customizers. You will not find these toys in your local toy store.

Earth's Mightiest Heroes - The Avengers, have an ALL-NEW toyline based on the comic series and not the cartoon.

Series 1

The Wasp: This outfit is based on one of the costume’s Wasp wore in the 70’s, around the time she married Yellowjacket. The base is a Marvel vs. Capcom Morrigan with Sculpey used for her collar, gloves, boots, and her hairstyle. The figure was painted with Testors paint.

Ant Man II: This is the uniform Scott Lang wore after Hank Pym passed the title of Ant Man to him. The base is X-Man. The jacket the figure was wearing was removed and the “armor” designs on the figure were dremeled off. The helmet and wristbands are Sculpey with floral wire antenna.

Firestar: is in the uniform she wore shortly after joining the Avengers. She is a repaint of an Alpha Flight Aurora. She was painted with Citadel Colour paints. They are pretty good, but take a couple of coats to look good.

Wonder Man: is wearing his Avengers series three uniform. It took me forever to come up with a passable design for him. He’s taller than Captain America is, but a Cap didn’t fit for a base. I finally settled on a Web Wars Daredevil body and a Xena Autoclytus head. Yes, Bruce Campbell is an Avenger. The finishing touch is the sunglasses from an X-Men movie Cyclops.

Hawkeye: is in his current Thunderbolts uniform. The base is a Marvel vs. Capcom Capt. America with a crap load of Sculpey. His bow and quiver are from a DC Direct Green Arrow. A slight modification was made to his right arm so he can pivot the arm to hold an arrow in the bow.
