DC's "BIRDS of PREY" series gets their own line of action figures.

Catwoman: is a Danger Girl Abbey Chase body and a Sydney Savage head.

Jade: Jade has become my favorite female comic character (her and the Black Widow) and I thought she deserved a figure, with DC Direct making Kyle Rayner in January ('bout time). (And yes, I know she isn't in the Bird of Prey comic, but she'd fit in well, so sue me. She could help them while Kyle's off saving the world with the JLA) The base figure is a Natalia Kassel from Danger Girl. I cut one inch off her upper legs and half an inch off her boots to put her in scale with the other DC Direct figures. Before cutting the boot top off, I cut off the peg, then reglued it to the shortened boot to maintain the articulation there. I also did the same for her arms, cutting the pegs off her arms, then regluing them to the arms of a Stephanie McMahon figure, giving her elbow, bicep, and wrist articulation. Her hair was cut to the proper length, allowing her head to turn unhindered by the long hair.I've seen several customs of Jade before, all in the 5 in. scale and all in either her classic white costume, or the classic Green Lantern costume. I decided to paint her in her current costume, the one that emulates Kyle's uniform. The glove cuffs and power ring are Sculpy, as is the filled in area of her chest, so that she has a jumpsuit look instead of the bra look. The lantern came from a DC Direct Hal Jordan.
