RECIPES

  • Arthur P. Dent
Arthur's mainly a Star Trek Barclay figure (I thought having a Trek-like line would be fitting). I originally intended to sculpt his head, but once I saw the figure, I thought it had a perfect Arthur look, so I went with it.Some extra Sculpey was used to shape his hair and pyjamas, and his bathrobe's made from an old shirt and ribbon lining. The Guide's made from cardboard, and his cup came from an old Lego set.
  • Ford Prefect
Ford uses the torso of the J Jonah Jameson figure from the Spider-man line, with legs from a Star trek figure. The head is a sculpt from scratch. His satchel and electronic thumb were modified from Star Trek accessories. That's a real towel.
  • Prostetnic Vogon Jeltz
There's an old Spider-man Rhino figure hidden under all that Sculpey...
  • Zaphod Beeblebrox
Zaphod is a mad frankensteining of various parts from about 3 Star Trek figures (Barclay, Wes Crusher, Q), with lots and lots of sculpting. His heads were made from scratch using Super Sculpey. His accessories are made from parts I had lying around.
  • Trillian
Trillian's made from a Star Trek Seska figure, except for her torso, which was a spare one I had from the Virus line. Her skrt's a cloak from a Star Wars Emporer figure, and her scarf's real ribbon, set in place with lots of glue.
  • the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal
Basically a heavily modified fish thingamabob from the Phantom Menace line.
  • Marvin
There's a Silver Surfer hidden under the Sculpey somewhere. His limbs are mostly kitbashed Zoid parts, and his head and chest are original sculpts.

  • Frogstar Scout robot class D
A generic toy tank, with all my extra missiles and launchers from various toy lines stuck onto it and sprayed black.
