The World's Strangest Heroes!

My Doom Patrol customs are based on DC's 1960's series of the same name. The adventures of the "World's Strangest Heroes" was incredibly ahead of its time due to the quirky writing of Arnold Drake and steller art of Bruno Premiani. I highly recommend seeking out back issues of this great comic!

Elasti-Girl was made from a STAS Supergirl figure. The hands have been repositioned and her collar and hair were re-done in Kneadatite. Her boots are from a Princess-Whats-Her-Name from Earthworm Jim series and the tops are sculpted from more Kneadatite.   Negative Man is made from a BTAS Nightwing with a Racer X head wrapped in cloth. He was then primed and painted! For those of you wondering where N-Man is, I couldn't bring myself to sacrifice another Nightwing for him! Maybe in the future!

Robotman is made from a TNBA Creeper body with a TNBA Mr. Freeze head and Batman hands. Cliff's facial features were sculpted in Kneadatite as was his chest camera. The straps are made from rubberbands.   The Chief is made out of a TNBA Two-Face. First I did plastic surgery on his face, restoring it to normal, then I added the beard and mustache. The legs were cut and repositioned so he could sit in the wheelchair. A WWF wheelchair has been heavily modified so it would be in scale with the Chief.

I really like this one! Mento is made from a TNBA Riddler with a Kneadtite and cut plastic helmet.   Beast Boy is a TNBA Robin with a Kneadatite mask.
