James Cameron’s “Dark Angel”
Sasha (aka MsBig) has produced a range of exclusive busts
for the TV show Dark Angel.
Dark Angel is an American biopunk/cyberpunk
science fiction television series created by James Cameron
and Charles H. Eglee. Set in a post-apocalyptic Seattle, the
show chronicles the life of Max Guevara (Jessica Alba). In
Season 2, Joshua (Kevin Durand) and Alec (Jensen Ackles) join
the cast.
Cat-Burglar Max
Max (X5-452) is a genetically enhanced super-soldier,
created in a secret government lab known as "Manticore".
After escaping the biotech/military facility as a child, she
tries to lead some semblance of a normal life. She’s
constantly trying to elude capture by government agents, while
searching for her genetically-enhanced brothers and sisters
scattered in the aftermath of their escape.

shows Max from the “Heat” episode
of Dark Angel Season 1, where she is supplementing her paycheck
with a little cat-burglar action.
Basement-Nomalie Joshua
An early Manticore experiment, Joshua
is engineered with canine DNA and consequently has some unusual
facial features, as well as incredible strength even by transgenic
standards. As the very first successful Manticore creation,
he has no bar code. At Manticore, he often roams in the basement
unchecked, and takes care of the rest of the "downstairs
people" by giving them food.

Cat-Burglar Alec
Alec McDowell (X5-494) was named for his "smart
alec" attitude. He's
a transgenic, though he prefers genetically empowered. He was left behind when
Max and the other kids escaped, and only left Manticore 10 years later. Wired
for survival, he's initially looking out only for himself, but through Max's
influence, and his own repressed conscience, he changes.
