Marvel Zombies: Wolverine
This is a first of many Marvel Zombies that my partner and
I wanted to see made. We realize that this version of Wolverine
was not in the original MZ comic...but alternate worlds allows
us to do this. There were many characters that we hoped to see,
but felt that the toy company might not be willing to put out
that many of the Zombie line...soooo....we took it upon ourselves
to start making our own. This was our first...mostly because
we love wolverine and the thought of him "zombified" was
too good to pass up...and mainly because this was the only figure
we had in our supply that my partner would allow me to really
tear into. We have 2 more on the "assembly line" right
now. Altough were we really disappointed to not be able to submit
them this fall, we felt more time was needed to perfect them
and utilize the "do's and don'ts" that we learned
in the process of making Zombie Wolverine.
All in all, our main goal -for this line- was and is
to create the characters rarely seen or yearning to be seen by
us and all the fans of the genre. We hope you like it.
Toy Recipe: We used a ML Astonishing Wolverine as the
main body. The hands and foot from Judge Death, Aves fixit sculpt
for the ripped cloth and to add length to the mask and boots.
The majority of the sculpt work was done with a dremel and the
paint was master acrylics. We cut and shaped hairpins to give
the claws a more stable and sinister look
