Custom Recipes:

Doc Savage
Flash Gordon

Doc Savage:
The Man of Bronze was crafted from a Toy Biz Marvel Legends Magneto figure torso, arms and head. He uses a Jakks Pacific Rick O’Connell for his jodhpurs and boots and a random wrestler for his hand. His shirt was donated by a Mattel Killer Croc and his swanky hair-do was created from Kneadatite.

Flash Gordon:
Flash Gordon, one the first space-faring heroes of the serial movie age was created using primarily a Mattel Zip-Line Batman. The only ‘new’ thing about this custom was a DC Direct Hawkman head and a bit of cut vinyl for his belt and glove cuffs.

Indiana Jones
Mandrake the Magician

Indiana Jones:
What I would consider to be a ‘new’ Pulp Hero, Dr. Henry Jones, Jr. was created using an N2 Toys Matrix Neo figure for the torso and arms, a DC Direct Saint of Killers for the legs and fedora, a Toy Biz Marvel Legends Gambit for the leather jacket and a Kenner/Hasbro Epic Force Han Solo for the head. The satchel came from a Toy Biz Spider-Man Classics Hobgoblin and the whip, hands and other accoutrements were from the parts bins.

Mandrake the Magician:
Mandrake, a classic old-school comic book pulp hero was crafted from a DC Direct Uncle Sam head, torso and top hat, DC Direct Elijah Snow legs, a DC Direct Spectre collar and a Toy Biz X-Men 2 Movie Magneto cape.

The Nevermen Version 2.0

The Nevermen Version 2.0:
These are a re-released version of my original Nevermen figures from Guy Davis’ comic of the same name. They now sport all-new and comic-accurate goggles.

The Lone Ranger
The Phantom

The Lone Ranger:
A staple in kid’s television programming in the 1950’s, the Lone Ranger was created using a DC Direct Saint of Killers for the base body. His head is a Toy Biz Marvel Legends Magneto with a NECA Crazy 88 mask. The hat is from a Toy Biz X-Men Evolution Logan figure and the rest of the costume accessories are cut vinyl and Kneadatite.

The Phantom:
" The Ghost Who Walks" is actually an updated and more closely on-model version of my previous Phantom. He uses a DC Direct Blue Beetle as his base with very few modifications. Some strategic dremelling, cut vinyl, a Subcultures Rex Ganon holster and some pushpin rings completes this Pulp Legend. The 6" resin Palisades Snake Eyes mini-statue donated Timber the wolf who is standing in for Devil.
