Custom Recipes:

Belts and pouches: Made from elastic bought at fine fabric stores everywhere. A snap was sewn on to the elastic. The elastic was colored with pens. The pouches were made from the same elastic then sewn into place on the belt with gold strands from a curtain tassel.

Paint: All figures were primed with Krylon gray primer. Areas to be finished in bright colors were then primed again with white primer. Acrylics were used and the figures sealed with Dulcote. For shiny finishes, decoupage glue was used as a sealer.

Color Kid: Pretty easy one here. Some unknown military head on an Iceman body.

Stone Boy: George Clooney Batman head on a Morph body with some of the details sanded away.

Chlorophyll Kid: Iceman body with Magic Sculp applied in all the right areas.

Infectious Lass: Aurora body with antennae and Magic Sculp added in all the right areas.

Fire Lad: Marvel’s Most Wanted X-Man was used for the body; the head is from a Chris Redfield (or something like that) from the Resident Evil 2 toy line. Details were sanded and paint applied. The cape was hand sewn.

Ambush Bug: The Ambush Bug came from a Quicksilver figure. The head is from an Alpha Flight North Star figure with the nose sanded off and a “V” groove dremelled into the forehead to receive the antennae. The antennae are actually ties that hold action figures to there interior bubbles during shipping. The cape was hand sewn with wire in the hem for poseability. The “S” emblem was an iron on that I created in a cadd program.
