Synopsis:
The Femforce appear at a shopping mall autograph session to bolster their public image. One of their fans is a strange young man who gives off a tingling sensation as he shakes each heroine's hand and leaves. Later, as the FF settle into their new headquarters in Orlando, TC bursts in, furious over a girlie magazine that features nude photo spreads of the Femforce. Tara, Colt, and She-Cat protest their innocence, but TC is in no mood to listen. Determined to vindicate themselves, Tara and She-Cat confront Sol Shooster, publisher of Buffy magazine. Shooster claims legal protection however, and kicks them out. That night, as Colt relaxes in the FF pool, two visitors enter the grounds. One is Hidalgo Romero, who has been sent by Stella to get some candid, unmasked footage of the team. The other is the boy from the mall, who impersonates Colt and She-Cat, putting Romero into a panic that causes the fleeing reporter to slam into Sydney the handyman's rake. Later, the boy explains to the team how he gained his shape shifting power from his cancer treatments. Claiming that Shooster lied to him about clearly stating that he was the model and not the actual Femforce, he makes amends by giving Hidalgo a videotape exposing Shooster's fraud. He also helps out Tara get even with Stargaze by impersonating Stella in the next issue of Buffy.

Notes:
Nightveil, Stardust, and Thunderfox appear at the mall with the others but do not take part in the rest of the story.... The FF's new Orlando HQ is a former all-girls boarding school purchased by T.C. Fremont.... For the first time, Stella appears to be exerting her hypnotic influence over T.C. through telepathic means.... The boy, who is never named, says that he posed for Buffy in order to raise money for cancer research.... Hidalgo, though mischievous and troublesome, is not the enemy of the Femforce he later turns out to be.... The boy claims not to have impersonated Rad, leading the heroines to conclude that the altered personality of Joan Wayne must have done the shoot herself.

2nd Story: The Volcano Fury (8 pgs)
