1. The Swami. The ever hopeful proprietor of a trading post located in the middle of the ocean. He loves the peaceful location and always pats himself on the back for his slyness in finding a place where he can "corner the market." Of course he rarely has any customers but when he does his mark ups always makes it worth it.

2. Kelp Farmer Bob. Bob is a rugged guy who swims the open ocean cultivating his kelp farms. Bob is very proud of his "underwater plantation" and will take any opportunity to tell you about the benefits of kelp. "One day people will listen to the environmentalists and then everyone will be coming for what I've got."

3. Dash Daring!! (The exclamation points are part of Dash's name)
Dash is a hard living aerial postman. He delivers mail to the far corners of the ocean in his helicoptor built from discarded barrels and spare engine parts. He is a dynamic force to say the least and has never met a challenge that he couldn't beat.

4. Poseidon. Poseidon is a bored god who misses the days when he was worshipped by millions. Nowadays he avoids facing the modern world and settles for entertaining himself at the expense of people living in the isolated areas of his kingdom. Namely, Swami and Bob. In this episode he does this by leaving a book of dark magic for them to discover and tamper with.
