JLU: The New Teen Titans
Press Release:
In a CustomCon exclusive, Cartoon Network, Warner Brothers, and
Mattel announce a new, direct-to-video movie under producer
/ creator Bruce Timm: "The New Teen Titans." This
movie plays heavily on original Titans storylines, and a full
series of figures are planned for the Titans in the JLU style.
Mattel commissioned a relative unknown artist to realize the
New Teen Titans: The first offerings are two three-packs, with
a series of single-packs to follow: These include Titans favorites
Wonder Girl (Donna Troy), Raven, and young recruit Terra in
one pack, and Titans mainstays Nightwing (Dick Grayson), Cyborg,
and Speedy in the other. While the sculpt for Speedy was not
available at press time, shown is a "variant prototype" for
Roy Harper -- in what will be his "Red Arrow" costume
in the current (Summer 2007) Brad Meltzer JLA.
