X-Statix Minimates
Recipes:
The Orphan:
The Orphan is made from a repainted Minimate. His hair and antennae are made
from Sculpey. His face and X-Statix logo are digital printouts, while the banded
metal lines on his costume are made from water-transfer decals.
The Anarchist:
The Anarchist is made from a repainted Minimate body. His hair is made from Sculpey,
and his goggles are made from thin Mylar plastic. His X-Statix logo is a digital
printout.
U-Go Girl:
U-Go Girl was made from a repainted Minimate. She's wearing a skirt from a Gwen
Stacy Minimate, with hair made from Sculpey. Her face is a water-transfer decal
wit painted details.
Dead Girl:
Dead Girl was made from a repainted Minimate. Her hair is made from Sculpey.
Her face, X-Statix icon and costume details are all from digital printouts.
Venus Dee Milo:
Venus Dee Milo was made from a repainted Minimate. Her hair is made from Sculpey,
her face is a water-transfer decal, and her X-Statix logo is a digital printout.
I created the "Kirby dots" energy effect on her shoulders by using
a set of clear arms with carefully painted black dots.
Doop:
Doop is made from a Minimate head, torso and arms. The head and torso were built
up with Sculpey to create Doop's unique shape. His hands were made from modified
Minimate hands with MagicSculpt fingers. His X-Statix logo is a digital printout.
