Firefly PALz
It sucks when a good show is cancelled. And it sucks
even more when there aren’t any good toys out there to
celebrate how cool that television show was. PALz, Inc.
plans to correct one of those suckages with its new limited edition
series of block figures to celebrate the short-lived but much-loved
Joss Whedon program “Firefly.” Although
there will only be one series of block figures in this boxed
set, the fans have been clamoring for it, and they’re going
to get it.
The block figures in the boxed set include:
Captain Malcolm “Mal” Reynolds
Zoe Alleyne Washburne
Hoban “Wash” Wasburne
Inara Serra
Jayne Cobb
Dr. Simon Tam
River Tam
Kaywinnit Lee “Kaylee” Frye
Derria Book
“We would have loved to see the television series continue,
and this is our way of commemorating that fantastic, albeit short-lived
series,” said Quinn Rollins, brand manager for the PALz
block figures. “I
can’t see us doing more than one series, but this has been
one of my favorite lines we’ve ever made. Working
on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel lines of PALz was great—can’t
wait to see what else Joss has in the pipeline.”
