Edgar Rice Burroughs Legends

We are most pleased to present this line of highly articulated action figures, adapted in Marvel Legends format from the classic adventure stories penned by the well regarded Edgar Rice Burroughs.

[Part 1]

Our first wave starts with the legendary Lord Greystoke, or Tarzan as he is known in the Dark Continent. His Lordship comes with
interchangeable heads, by which you may choose to don the figure with the noble visage befitting one of aristocratic English blood, or unleash the savage within using the variant head, allowing the Lord of the Apes to bellow the old Greystoke Clan Battle Cry.

And what sets the Ape-man's heart raging beneath his breast more than that exquisite flower of proper English womanhood, the lovely Jane. The fair lady is shown garbed as she would upon first entering the luxuriant virgin jungle, her modesty not yet abandoned for the uncivilized native garments. Such a pure and innocent lass on the cusp of reckless abandon and danger!

And what dangers there be among these untamed vines and trees. An unbridled great ape is a creature not to be trusted. The beast comes with interchangeable heads, showing either the curious gaze of its primitive brain, or the fury of a ravenous craving. What forbidden thoughts must rage within his lustful mind. That naughty monkey surely needs a spanking !!

And who more apt to discipline the great ape other than the Lord of the Apes. His full contingent of ML style articulation allows many courses of action for the saving of the distressed damsel. Good show, old boy!

(I say, speaking of good shows, it should be noted that his Lordship dons a soft loincloth generously provided by Actorjez of Philadelphia, that premiere clothier for the gentleman. Said leopard print not only sets the appropriate image for Lord Greystoke's alter ego as king of the jungle, but also allows unrestricted movement of his most sinewy of thighs, even to the most immodest of positionings as to endanger his Lordship of exposing his most private concerns to wandering eyes. The apeman can be quite the cheeky little monkey!)

Of course, we haven't forgotten the animal lovers among our clientele. The monstrous primate is similarly endowed with ML style
articulation, whereby the ape can mete out punishment of its own. How bestial!
