Today I will submit what I would like to call "Comicbook
Minimates". They consist of 3 comic/ cartoon properties
I did as commissions.
1. HELLBOY: I did
as a commission for a friend. He was made from existing minimate
parts. Most prelevent is the modified trechcoat from Ultimate
Sabretooth, modifed tail from Nightcrawler and belt accessory
from Ultimate Wolverine.His right hand of doom is a resculpted
Thing hand. I sculpted his horns and hair from miliput and
painted him with Citadel paints. His gun came from the Stikfas
Alpha male SWAT action figure.
2. INVINCIBLE: Is a character from Image comics. I did him
as well as a Captain Marvel for an internet fan who saw my
work at Custom Con 10. He was made from a Captain America minimate.
Hair was sculpted to the mask and he was painted using Citadel
paints.
3. LION-O: Is one of my favorite commissions. I made him by
request of Toyfare magazine for a minimate story they ran in
issue #83. It's great to see your work published, but due to
space issues (I guess) he was never seen in al his glory. Lion-O
was made from a Bullseye minimate. His hair was sculpted from
miliput and he was painted with Citadel paints. His paw glove
was the other modified Thing hand I had left over from the
Hellboy minimate. The sword of Omen was a modified Stikfas
Omega male Knight's broadsword.
